    We are looking for a Business Analyst to work on revolutionary new work from home model in India. The new Virtual network of Customer Service Professionals will be a game changer on job opportunities in India providing mobility and flexibility in working hours.
    We are looking for an exceptional analyst who is passionate about the customer experience, who thinks/acts globally, and who can contribute major innovations in the industry to join us as a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess both an analytical background that enables him/her to manage quantitative planning and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about customer service initiatives. Amazon Customer Service is a fast paced environment where every day brings new challenges & opportunities, and the candidate will experience a wide range of problem-solving situations, strategic to tactical to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis.
    The successful candidate will work in lock-step with multiple business teams, and develop workforce planning tools & models, perform extensive real-time analysis & work on ‘voice of the customers’ to help the business make decisions to address some of the unique challenges in this space.
    He/she will:
    · Create optimum capacity models & plans for business by managing trade-offs between Customer Experience, Employee Experience, and Cost-Effectiveness.
    · Define and develop business critical metrics and reports across all business levers, key performance indicators, and financials.
    · Provide thought leadership in global business deep dives across a variety of key performance indicators.
    · Partnering with engineering, product, business and finance teams to create key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement.
    · Fluency in analytical communication to translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders both in and out of the team, create analytical insights to identify key priorities.
    · Proactively make and justify recommendations based on advanced statistical techniques, deep familiarity with the customer or developer experiences, as well as by cross-referencing multiple data sources and comparing against the wider industry.
    · Determine best-in-class performance reports, scale ad-hoc analyses, build and inform BI tool improvements.

    Bachelor Degree in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, math, statistics, finance) with 3+ years hands-on experience in the analysis is required, or Graduate degree with 4+ years of experience
    · Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment exhibiting dedication, enthusiasm, motivation, and persuasive ability.
    · Experience building and analysing models using various statistical tools for forecasting and optimisation.
    · Strong in data analytics (e.g. forecasting, simulation, and optimisation techniques).
    · Proficient in at least one of the statistical/data modelling software packages (e.g. R, Minitab, Python).
    · Proficient in SQL, Excel, VBA and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Tableau, Microstrategy)
    · Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs.
    · Ability to deep dive and test hypotheses by analysing data/information from multiple sources.
    · Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause/ analyses
    · Ability to take complex business problems and translate them into clear and accurate results
    · Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (ability to present detailed technical analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly).

    · MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, math, stats, operations research, finance)
    · Experience in an e-commerce environment; related experience in customer protection/trust/safety will be an added plus.
    · Proven hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and improving large-scale predictive models.
    · Expertise in Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (DMAIC, etc.)
    · Experience working with both business and operations teams with deep experience on existing systems and data sources Sufficient knowledge of programming to handle large datasets (SQL, VBA, Perl, etc.)
