HoTW programs will support and manage our new and existing supplier base, maximizing their potential on the Amazon websites. HOTW APM (Automated Profitability Program) PM will drive inputs improvements in scalable ways using self-service applications, automation and machine learning technologies. Operating in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment, you will have full responsibility for achieving business objectives and be the voice of the vendor; identifying potential issues and working closely across multiple stakeholders in order to solve problems using technology and improve processes. We expect that you can work autonomously, think both strategically and tactically, and take full control and responsibility for achieving your goals.
As a Product Manager your responsibilities will include: · Identifying opportunities for suppliers to grow their business, engaging with relevant teams to achieve objectives · Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision · Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications · Influence global tech team to deliver products to market · Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals ·Managing the supplier experience and working with key resolver groups to remove any issues · Analyzing performance, identifying improvement actions and presenting insights and recommendations as needed to senior management This is a critical role and will involve working closely with stakeholders across the business, including Category, program management, tech and Operations. Passionate about online business, e-commerce and sales
Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems and business challenges by analyzing and modelling data
Experience managing cross-functional projects that delivered measurable results within a large organisation.
Extensive know-how of negotiation process
Experience in P&L or profitability management
Deep understanding of category management/program management with 5-7 yrs of experience in a fast paced environment.
Team working skills and willingness to roll up sleeves.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners for the program.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.
Ability to work with teams remotely with effective influence.
MBA from a leading business school
5+ years of category/product management experience
Prior experience managing online services
Advanced Knowledge of SQL and VBA or willingness to learn
Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
History of developing business strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
