    Amazon.in Seller Experience & Fulfillment team is looking for a Software Development Manager to join us and provide technical leadership across several high impact areas in the Seller Experience & Fulfillment Tech team.     We're looking for a leader that's highly passionate about the potential of e-commerce in India and building a high performing engineering organization. You should care deeply about building simple and elegant software solutions. Ideally you have a track record of delivering high quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly. You should know how to prioritize, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong team. A high level of ownership and accountability is a must.

    In your role, you will be a leader of several complex and diverse technology initiatives including both grounds-up build-out and building solutions on top of existing retail tech services. You will also lead the proactive identification of problem spaces across areas and drive innovative & scalable technology solutions to alleviate the same. You will help drive the direction and overall development of a world class technology organization and be at the center of all key system level decisions.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Proven track record of hiring and managing diverse, deeply talented & high performing engineering teams
    • Breadth and depth of experience building and managing software systems and teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
    • 10+ years of experience in software development
    • 5+ years managing diverse software teams

    Preferred Qualifications


    • Experience building and operating scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems
    • Experience in high-scale hiring and talent management on teams of multiple disciplines
    • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
    • Keen ability to achieve stretch goals
    • Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment
