    The IN Digital Music Technical Account Manager will lay the foundation for seamless flow of approved digital content and metadata throughout the digital supply chain from vendors and content providers to end consumers. He/she will also be responsible for professionally engaging with content providers to ensure their content goes into streamable distribution in a timely and high-quality manner. The TAM is responsible for the quality of the product, both within our music service and within the Alexa Music experience, and for ensuring content providers receive excellent service. The TAM will be evaluated on his/her ability to meet cost, quality, and operational performance objectives as well as his/her professionalism with internal and external stakeholders. As the primary conduit for digital content and as the key operational interface with content providers, the TAM will demonstrate an unrelenting passion for serving Amazon’s customers and partners.

    The successful Technical Account Manager must be able to:
    * Innovate processes, establish standard operating procedures, and manage projects that enable content providers to stream their digital content in an efficient and timely manner.
    * Leverage relationships, automation, and new technology to improve cycle time, throughput, and yield of Digital titles from ingestion through distribution.
    * Provide ongoing technical support for vendors on issues such as data transmission, publishing & rights clearances, metadata, FTP, images, digital file formats, and content ingestion portals specific to Amazon.
    * Interact with digital content providers to stay on top of new content deliveries, missing selection, changes in specs, resolution of problems including issues related to ingestion, clearing and reporting.
    * Consistently improve content provider and customer experience by delivering superior customer support, and by relentlessly advocating for content providers throughout the enterprise.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 4 year degree required
    • Diligent work ethic and attention to detail
    • Strong personal integrity
    • Excellent written and oral communication
    • Familiarity with managing product flow in a manufacturing operation (maximizing efficiency, reducing cycle time, maintaining quality, etc.)
    • Experienced working in a production environment and proven success in achieving efficiency and throughput goals.
    • Familiarity with common digital formats and digital transmission methods such as FTP and SFTP
    • Experience with SQL, MS Windows, MS Office tools including MS-Excel & MS-Access.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with major record label or major retailer digital operations a plus but not absolutely required
    • 2 years of strong analytical skills and project management experience
    • Team player with demonstrated capability to work in a cross-functional environment.
    • Strong technical aptitude and expertise with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby or similar, a bonus
