    Through the Amazon Marketplace, Amazon provides individuals or enterprises the opportunity to sell their goods on the Amazon platform. Worldwide, more than 2 million sellers use this Marketplace and thereby contribute to the success of Amazon. Amazon continues to grow its Marketplace aggressively worldwide. In this context, Amazon Services has established a Channel Sales Support organization which supports the seller recruitment groups with (i) Pre-sales lead generation to help Account Managers recruit new sellers and (ii) through/post sales seller onboarding to help sellers with listing their products on the Amazon Marketplace.

    Onboarding group is involved in expanding and also increasing the quality of the catalogue by working with the Sales team and sellers as needed. To achieve this objective there are multiple projects under execution and several other initiatives in the pipeline within the Seller Services business to enrich seller experience on the Amazon platform. The current position is for managing the catalog creation program for WholeFoodsMarket (WFM) and help launch WFM stores across US.

    We are looking for a customer obsessed, data oriented Program Manager to lead Whole Foods Market catalog creation program. The right candidate will possess a strong program management background and have demonstrated experience leading a team of highly motivated, analytical resources through medium to large projects. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop, prioritise and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
    A high level of influencing without authority and comfort while sifting through a wide variety of data sources to draw insights that will inform the team’s strategic direction will be critical to success in this role.

    Basic Qualifications

    · Master degree(preferably top-tier Computer Science or Business degree) and 5 yrs of relevant people management experience
    · Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel) applications
    · Ability to work with IT systems, understand and work with XML feeds, SQL/DW.
    · Excellent communication skills in written and oral English with the ability to face external and internal partners in a professional and mature manner.
    · Demonstrated ability to build, develop, direct, and manage a group of people
    · Ability to support Business and provide solutions to Seller pain points
    · Ability to handle complex and ambiguous scenarios
    · Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments.
    · Ability to manage conflicting priorities - capability to work on several projects in parallel
    · Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions
    · Proven ability to manage reporting and analysis
    · Demonstrated passion for delivering a positive Seller experience, and maintain composure in difficult situations
    · Ability to effectively and efficiently complete difficult goals or assignments
    · Can adapt well to changing circumstances, direction, and strategy

    · Set the vision, direction, and culture of the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals
    · Participate in planning meetings to understand the growth strategy and provide inputs where needed, also gather ideas across the table to improvise existing services within the local group
    · Provide individual coaching feedback sessions, and weekly one-on-ones that focus on improving customer satisfaction – Sales Specialists and the Seller community
    · Consolidate experience working with the Amazon tools developed for sellers and liaising with the technology teams to drive improvement of these existing tools and the development of new ones.
    · Monitor real time service levels and schedule adherence
    · Serve as leaders and point of contact for escalated contact resolution of a supervisory nature or complex problems
    · Manage and drive staffing plans, cost analysis, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, projects and other Change/Kaizen initiatives as required
    · Active participation in hiring and building the team & raising the bar in hiring process
    · People management i.e. performance appraisals, goal setting, training and mentoring talent to grow within organization & control attrition
    · Ensures employees growth & development, set priority, drive motivation & engagement for employees

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in program management in the consumer Internet space.
    • 3+ years of experience working directly with technical teams.
    • Proven track record of translating customer needs into business/product requirements.
    • Strong time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
    • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees.
    • Comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions.
    • M.B.A. from top tier B-school preferred.
