Position

Amazon is looking for an experienced Information System Developer for a Kernel and Operating System team. As part of the team, you will be given the chance to have a significant impact on our release management, systems, our business and most importantly our customers.

If you are passionate about automation, have deep technical knowledge of systems integration and want to build solutions to challenging problems that directly affect millions of people: there may be no better place than Amazon for you to impact the world!

You will be responsible for the lowest layer of the Amazon Web Services software stack, managing the Linux Kernel and Hypervisor releases for AWS.

You will be working with proprietary Amazon systems as well as creating new ones - untying knots of AWS scale and complexity.

• 2 plus years of sound experience in developing and maintaining automated deployment systems
• Versed in Python
• Experience with building and tuning custom Linux Kernel

• Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD
• Experience with Linux Kernel testing
  
• Experience reading and understanding C
