We are looking for a senior engineering leader to solve complex, large scale problems in any of the following areas: machine learning, data mining, data retrieval, high performance ad serving, high performance transaction management, development of interactive crawler.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in hiring and managing a team of highly talented software developers working on both front end and backend services and advances distributed systems and/or transaction based systems. They will own and drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will manage and lead a team of software engineers to design and develop new features and systems that will be deployed globally. They will participate in the overall planning, execution, and success of a complex cross-functional team, work closely with product management, actively participate in recruitment of candidates for technical positions and mentor junior technical staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience • 2+ years people management experience • Experience with OOD and object oriented languages • Prior experience with agile methodologies • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time.
