    About the Team
    The AMG Customer Solutions Team (CST) in Bangalore is a part of the Advertising Media Group (AMG) and has the charter of supporting CST teams from around the world and executing worldwide advertising programs at Amazon. The team has experienced rapid growth with over 600 account manager, ad operations, design, quality assurance, analyst, and other like professionals around the world and over 100 in Bangalore. The CST software development team is relatively new and "start up" with the goal of owning and producing technology solutions for our wider CST org globally. This technology includes analytics and operational workflow products. We work on analytics tools for our data analysts and account managers, workflow efficiency and quality for our operations, under-delivery detection for our ad campaigns, pricing and monetization across advertising platforms, and experimentation pilots for advertising and operations. While the core objective is to build solutions for our internal users, we anticipate greater impact on external customers over time. We build advanced and highly scalable systems to optimize performance for advertiser and user.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
    • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java
    • Experience with one or more of JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Python.
    • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms and design patterns.
    • Fundamentals in operating systems architecture and networking.
    • Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role
    • Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
    • Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices
    • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
    • Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
    • Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
    • Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
