Job Description

This role requires working with product management to define business strategy, requirements and timelines as well as leading multiple cross functional development teams through design, delivery, and management and support. This position involves regular communication with senior management on progress, risks and change control. Ability to lead extended cross-discipline virtual teams as well as project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities across a global product base. At the core of the position is planning and delivery. Ideal candidates have extensive experience with product build and delivery plans, defining and assembling program v-teams, and writing detailed functional and test specifications to meet product needs. Ideal candidates have knowledge of the following: service-oriented architecture, distributed software, product development, build processes, project management and release models. The ideal candidate will have 8 or more years of relevant work experience in internet-related project and/or technical program management in a software applications environment. An undergraduate degree in software-program management, computer science, or equivalent experience required.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or 10+ years equivalent work experience
  • Experience developing internet products and technologies
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies, SCRUM, Waterfall
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize tasks
  • The ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Results oriented person with a strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams
