Job Description

Shipping and Delivery Support technology team is building the next generation customer and user experience for one of the fast-growing Amazon business, Amazon Logistics (AMZL). AMZL is rapidly growing, has multiple customer segments (drivers, recipients, shippers, property managers and storage owners) and is extremely dynamic business. Our systems should be flexible, adaptable to respond to the business needs, deliver a consistent experience for multiple customer segments, simplify the process and help in rapidly resolving the customer issues.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be designing and developing automated solutions to ensure highest quality for our systems across the market places and regions. You will build automation tools to launch our solutions faster and better.

We are looking for an SDET, who has passion to understand the business at high level and also uncovers minute variances across market places/regions. Demonstrates positive attitude to work in fast paced environment and able to switch between tasks seamlessly.

Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
  • Experience developing automation in at least one of OO languages - Java, C#/C++, Python
  • Experienced in web test automation
  • Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development

Preferred Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role
  • Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices
  • Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
  • Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
