    As a Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for dive deep into Operations Processes, identify defect sources, and build programs and focus on continuous improvement to eliminate those defects, and will measure the results by monitoring quality metrics and contacts. You will build collaborative relationships with Operations, engineering and business teams, working closely to create and execute quality project road map. You will also prepare and execute regular program updates to senior management. The successful candidate will be input focused and will have isolated and correlated inputs to achieve impactful outputs, built closed loop processes and measures to ensure improvements are realized. S/he will also have proven ability to assess situations and guide teams toward both short-term and longer-term process changes. This role calls for an individual who is technically smart to gain credibility with customers and stake holders at various levels of the SSPA organization.

    The ideal candidate for this role will be able to:
    • Interact with SSPA stakeholders at multiple levels to define and deliver solutions to establish quality standards and processes.
    • Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have relevance and moderation quality as the top focus.
    • Can think big and develop new ideas, simultaneously well at nurturing new ideas and applying high standards to weed out those that are least valuable.
    • Is comfortable collaborating and influencing team members, working with engineering teams and other business groups, and presenting projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
    • Has the technical aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and communicate directly with technical teams.

    Basic Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Business (preferably in quantitative field or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 10 + years in a quantitative role – Engineering, Process Re-engineering, Quality Assurance)
    · Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Project Management experience
    · Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership, and lead a team to understand business goals, analyze opportunities and develop improvement project plans for a segment of the business
    · Proficient in obtaining, organizing, and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions and drive root cause analysis
    · Proficient in lean six sigma tools, such statistics, SPC, hypothesis testing, regression, root cause analysis, etc.
    · Strong process, manufacturing, or engineering background with an ability to understand work flow and throughput through the operation (Finance background preferred, but not required)
    · Demonstrated collaborative problem-solving skills evidenced by results in past positions
    · Articulate and able to communicate with employees at all levels across the organization, from front-line associates to executives through white papers as well as verbal communication
    · Demonstrated Change Management experience including the ability to work with improvement team sponsors to address barriers to a team’s success

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Master’s degree
    · Strategic thinker, and change agent
    · Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to present and influence at executive level
    · 3 to 5 years of Operations Consulting experience with large Operations Consulting firms leading enterprise level transformation projects.
    · Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, Certified Lean Sensei, Certified Quality Engineer, etc.
    · Adaptable to various situation’s and business processes to add value cross functionally
    · Self-starter capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction
    · Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately
    · Courageous and willing to stand up for their ideas within appropriate guidelines
