Amazon India is seeking an experienced Marketing Leader to drive the customer relationships and cross-category shopping engagement charter for the organization. Creating a robust customer base that engages frequently with Amazon is the biggest asset we create and this role is at the epicenter of it, right from creating the x-category engagement vision and roadmap and driving long term contribution and share of wallet. It is a high visibility role and is required to set direction and drive a bold vision across a large stakeholder set across category, marketing, product and technology teams. This role will design and execute marketing programs and experiences with the end objective of driving cross-category shopping behavior, invest in rapid experimentation that powers ‘n’ scalable, automated programs that helps the organization build a highly engaged customer base. The role will also recognize the vast heterogenity of India and work with machine learning/ technology to deliver the most impactful and relevant engagement experiences through best-in-class personalization and customer targeting. As a Marketing Manager (III), you will create the vision for a series of programs and experiences that increase customers’ share of wallet, increase cross-category shopping behavior and eventually long term contribution on Amazon. You will lead this vision across x-functional teams including category marketing, product, deals & events, managed and owned traffic channels, machine learning & personalization teams to drive scalable, impactful programs that drive high value actions for the organization. You will also invest in nimble, rapid experimentation and build a robust measurement framework to establish best practices and evangelize across the organization. You will also establish strong mechanisms to communicate success stories and inspire a large set of stakeholders to adopt best strategies that drive high value actions at scale. You will also work with analytics and consumer insights teams to develop a deep understanding of shopping barriers and other shopper frustrations related to cross-category shopping and work with product/ marketing managers to curate experiences that drive cross-category shopping and increase share of wallet. You are strong advocate of data and insights and have a customer-backward approach to creating impactful customer lifecycle/ relationship programs. You will also build strong relationships with the US/Seattle Teams and co-own the roadmap for porting/ customizing the most relevant experiences and experiments for India. It is a highly visible and strategic role; you are required to set this function up for the organization ground up, and be inventive about creating delightful x-category shopping experiences and features. Initially, you may be an army of 1 or with a small team, but this is an opportunity for you to create and execute the vision of driving share of wallet and customers’ long term contribution on Amazon. You are someone who is known for being passionate about consumer engagement and driving long term contribution. You are extremely collaborative and inspires bold vision across a large stakeholder set. You have an established background in creating strong, impactful consumer engagement and CRM programs which have created significant impact on driving loyalty, stickiness and share of wallet. You are highly analytical and numerate and will steer scalable programs backed by strong data and customer insight. You may have an established background in creating customer-facing experiences and programs. You are extremely driven and build strong x-functional relationships and have a stellar record of influencing for impact. Ambiguity doesn’t faze you and you have significant experience in creating/ envisioning marketing charters ground up. Additional Responsibilities:
