Amazon India is seeking an experienced Product Leader to drive the CX vision for strategic consumer segments (eg: New Customer), cross-category discover-ability through personalized curation. Creating a robust customer base that engages frequently with Amazon is the biggest asset we create and this role is at the epicenter of it, right from creating the cross-category engagement vision and road map and building the upper funnel for Prime. It is a high visibility role and is required to set direction and drive a bold vision across a large stakeholder set across category, marketing, product and technology teams. This role will (a) champion Voice of Customer specific to identified sub-segments (demographic/ psycho-graphic/ customer state on Platform), (b) build a rapid experimentation charter to test new proofs of concept and scale successful experiences, (c) drive the vision for this charter, (d) influence multiple cross-functional teams from customer experience technology, delivery experience, shop-ex, to payments and WW stakeholder teams to create a delightful experience, (e) identify shopper frustration/ ecommerce barriers to specific consumer segments and build experiences to alleviate these barriers. The role will also recognize the vast heterogeneity of India and work with machine learning/ technology to deliver the most impactful and relevant engagement experiences through best-in-class personalization and customer targeting. This role requires someone with a demonstrated track record of analytical rigor, creative problem solving, flawless execution and proven track record of delivering results through influence in a matrixed and ambiguous environment. The Role
As a Product Manager you will create the vision for a series of programs and experiences that increase, cross-category shopping behavior and long term value for Amazon. You will (1) lead this vision across teams including payments, central customer experience teams, category marketing, product, deals & events, machine learning & personalization teams to drive scalable, impactful programs that drive high value actions for the organization, (2) invest in nimble, rapid experimentation and build a robust measurement framework to establish best practices and evangelize across the organization (3) establish strong mechanisms to communicate success stories and inspire a large set of stakeholders to adopt best strategies that drive high value actions at scale (4) work with analytics and consumer insights teams to develop a deep understanding of shopping barriers and other shopper frustrations related to cross-category shopping, new ecommerce users and strategic demographics such as millennials and work with product/ marketing managers to create experiences that drive cross-category shopping and increase share of wallet. You must be a strong advocate of data and insights and have a customer-backward approach to creating impactful customer lifecycle/ relationship programs. You will also build strong relationships with the Global Teams and co-own the roadmap for porting/ customizing the most relevant experiences and experiments for India. It is a highly visible and strategic role requiring you to set this function up for the organization ground up, and be inventive about creating delightful cross-category shopping experiences and features. You are (1) someone who is known for being passionate about consumer engagement and driving long term contribution (2) extremely collaborative and inspire bold vision across a large stakeholder set (3) have an established background in creating strong, impactful consumer engagement and product experiences/ programs which have created significant impact on driving loyalty, stickiness and share of wallet (4) highly analytical and numerate and will steer scalable programs backed by strong data and customer insight (5) seasoned in creating customer-facing experiences and programs (6) extremely driven and build strong cross-functional relationships and have a stellar record of influencing for impact. Ambiguity doesn’t faze you and you have significant experience in creating/ envisioning marketing charters ground up.
