This program is focused on the strategic and operational aspects of building a suite of apps & services through third party providers that can help sellers build their e-commerce business on Amazon. You will be expected to build and manage solutions for a network of
Amazon empaneled service providers who would deliver organic and new business growth to Amazon’s marketplace through a suite of enablement services for sellers on the platform. This is first of its kind initiative for Amazon, hence the role is entrepreneurial in nature. Operating in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives. You will be held accountable for delivering a return on the investment Amazon makes in your business. You will be expected to define your business strategy, define and justify the operational plan and resources you require, and deliver on that plan. The SPN team is seeking a Senior Product Manager with broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, and a deep analytical background to drive seller and service provider success on SPN. You will define what success in your business will look like on a quarterly and annual basis, and scope out and define the cadences and processes needed to grow your businesses and work with others to automate them.
For this, you will be expected to build scalable solutions with focus on improving operational excellence including building a Hands off the Wheel solution to drive service provider performance and seller success inputs. You will also track and monitor performance of service providers and execute a rigorous measurement program to track and report on Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) including reach and impact (including but not limited to service provided on-boarded, business growth impact), do root cause resolution to fix issues found, close the loop with stakeholders. You will influence peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals assigned.
This is not a role for an order taker. You will be deeply involved in the overall vision, culture and direction of the team. You will represent the team in front of leaders of all levels across the company. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance and marketing. Candidates must have excellent analytical capabilities, be comfortable diving deep into data, have strong writing skills, and lead executive-level reviews. Candidates must have a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering technology solutions to address those needs.
