Job Description

The Amazon Connectivity Solutions Group (CSG) is part of the Amazon Devices team, which designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle family of products. We have also produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?
The Role:

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment.

You will be responsible for the definition and development of hardware and software roadmaps. This person is business-oriented and is responsible for the development and implementation of the product plan. S/he will be responsible for capturing, documenting, and communicating throughout all stages of the product family's lifecycle. You will also:
  • Work closely with Management and the engineering team to define and provide product requirements for the product

  • Combine tactical roadmaps and requirements into a compelling product and evangelize that vision within the organization

  • Help determine and drive buy/build/partner solutions for components as necessary

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a technical discipline

  • 8+ years of experience in product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or advanced technical degree

  • Knowledge of digital media and mobile technologies, products and tools

  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers and team members

  • A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Android application and device experience

  • Experience managing wireless WAN products

  • Self-driven
