Sales Associate (Amazon Wholesale India Pvt. Ltd)

Amazon Business strives to be the one stop solution for all business customers across India.As a Sales Associate, you will be instrumental in driving the customer registration-customer verification process in the sales funnel. You would be required to interact with the 3rd party feet on street sales team on phone and close the customer verification.You would also be required to maintain regular updates on customer verification and feedback to be presented in the weekly reviews. To be successful in this role you should have superior communication, presentation and organizational skills. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking control and responsibility for achieving the objectives of the role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Completing the registration funnel through customer verification
  • Interacting with the sales /seller team and customer to drive closures on bulk requests
  • Ensuring continuous process improvement to improve bulk closures
  • Maintaining reports for review

Basic Qualifications

· More than 1+ years of experience in sales
· Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred
· Passion for e-commerce is required.
· Experience in an analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
· Proven ability to manage the business “by the numbers”. Must be metrics-driven.
· Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
· Experience working with SME retailers is an advantage.
· Experience with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage.
· Deep understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India with prior interactions with sellers and distributors is desirable.
· Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desired.
· Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.

  • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a positive “can-do” attitude over the phone
  • Experience in a short sell cycle required, with one call close experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Has the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows based applications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Understanding of e-commerce desired.
