Amazon’s devices are revolutionary and one of the most innovative and fastest growing businesses at Amazon. Amazon devices institutional sales team is building processes and capabilities that further Amazon’s partnerships with partners that offer Amazon devices to their end customers.

A successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically. He or she will be analytical, customer centric, resourceful, team oriented, an effective communicator. This individual will be data driven, detail-oriented, extremely organized and professional, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities, and comfortable working with cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of channel/customer productivity and ability to meet/exceed financial and unit sales goals.
• Manage the institutional sales and coordinate with close and extended teams (e.g., field Sales managers, channel marketing managers, forward and reverse logistics managers, accounts receivable analysts, EDI analysts) working within their channel/customers
• Funnel/ Lead Management both Direct and through partners
• Build and maintain relationships with external parties (or business customers). Drive negotiations and terms improvements working with senior level decision makers at partners and customers
• Research and identify opportunities; communicate opportunities effectively to senior management; drive execution of approved projects.
• Lead internal and external business reviews covering operational performance and strategic initiatives
• Measure and analyze existing prgram for opportunities to improve the customer experience and reduce costs.
• Drive market analysis and provide recommendations for expansion within market segments. Execute approved expansion recommendations.
• Build strong internal relationships across Amazon. Influence internal teams to deliver the right results for the business.
• Be comfortable in getting hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done.
• Have the obsession to drive a better customer experience through everything that we do here at Amazon

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 7 or more years of relevant work experience in account management and/or operations in a large multinational retailer or consumer electronics environment
• Bachelor's degree is required
• English language proficiency required.
• Experience in selling consumer products.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
• M.B.A., MS or MA preferred
• Experience in selling consumer products in the Business to Business space including strategic alliances, education, gifting, bundling etc.
• Experience in ecommerce and/or retail with consumer electronics or high-tech products
• Ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities
• Ability to deliver both tactical and long-term priorities
• Good understanding of the Internet, social media, and digital media
• Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
• Strong leader with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with and influence all levels across Amazon.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including technical, engineering, marketing, design and merchandizing teams.
• Significant years’ experience in successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
• History of effectively managing external customers and successfully working with internal teams to build new capability and implement projects.
• Independence and flexibility.
• Analytical approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement.
• Proficiency at leveraging precious resources.
