Using a smartphone or tablet, users can download a breath-taking range of titles that includes best sellers, nonfiction, and classics and enjoy them anytime, anywhere.

Based in Bangalore, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who will support the successful marketing launch of customer-focused Audible products and adoption of the audiobook category in India. The successful candidate will be a digital marketer who likes to use data and technology and is comfortable working with external agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Support in building and growing online marketing channels; including Paid Search, Display, Affiliate and Social, and Mobile
  • Inform the strategy to leverage key segments of the Amazon.in customer base and ecosystem for audiobook category growth
  • Support in partnering with external agencies to plan, develop, execute, and analyze traffic driving opportunities
  • Monitor budgets relative to aggressive CPA targets
  • Maintain performance reports
  • Develop expertise of Indian marketing KPIs, regularly communicating results to the larger team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Math or a related field of study
  • 5+ years of experience in online marketing, ecommerce, UX, or technology
  • Proven success with digital product launches
  • Proven understanding of campaign performance metrics for online marketing
  • Experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics
  • Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in managing external media and performance agencies
  • Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Results oriented with strong bias for action, even in ambiguous situations
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cultural and media landscape
  • Comfortable working with international teams and cultures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Degree (JD, MBA, M.A., M.S., or other post-graduate degree)
  • Experience in digital media (online publishing, video, music, etc.)
  • An avid consumer of online media, including books, websites, blogs, and other digital content
  • Experience with membership-based products, a plus
  • Familiarity with Indic languages
