To drive this growth Prime’s technology team in Bangalore is looking for a top-notch Software Development Manager to lead a team of software engineers to build the next generation Big Data Platform that enables Real time & Offline Analytics, Machine Learning/Research Science. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years relevant work experience
  • Hands on professional experience in software development and people management.
  • Computer Science fundamentals in Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, Design, Problem Solving and complexity analysis
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases and deciding the right priority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience managing software development engineering team.
  • Experience in working on big data and developing data platforms from scratch.
  • CS Masters degree
  • Knowledge and hands on experience building Big Data technologies for billions and multi-peta bytes of data is a great plus!
  • Working experience with UNIX/Linux, Service Oriented Architecture, and Web-based technologies (e.g. HTML, Javascript, CSS)
  • Proven track record of project delivery for cross-functional projects
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, with an enthusiastic attitude to support and resolve customer problems
