Amazon.com is looking for Quality Specialist to support our ERC Leave of Absence group. The Quality Specialist will dive deep into leave of absence audits to identify trends and gaps and do an in depth research and root cause analysis and develop solutions and refreshers to eliminate the error and improve teams learning curve. The preferred candidate will have experience across leave of absence, return to work and Payroll areas. The role would be responsible of escalation management with in the team and to ensure that the escalation are tracked and necessary action are put in place to ensure error reduction.
The role is responsible for adoption of standard work, systems, and learning within the defined regions. The role will establish, train, mentor, and work with field employees to ensure adoption of new processes, standard work, and systems. On a regular basis this role will require demonstrated proficiency in change and transition management, identification of gaps in standard work for resolution, and expert knowledge of the Leave of Absence program. Key areas of responsibility:
Responsible to provide deep dive research and analysis for Tier 1, 2 and 3 Escalation for the ERC Leaves of absence team
Able to work within areas of ambiguity and address for the short-term to create standard work and partner with the manager and leads to establish a long-term solution
Train, educate, and mentor internal team members on tools and resources for adoption within daily work
Coordinate with the internal team resources of compliance, audit and quality, and delivery to ensure high standards for frustration free experience
Perform internal and external audit of data for accuracy and integrity.
Match findings with data information in the system for the right outcome.
Understand impacts of defects and how these will impact internal/external interfaces and teams
continually strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems/process and look for enhancements related to current systems and procedures by providing process improvement ideas and solutions.
Communicate written analysis of dive deep results and information to partners and employees
Track, measure and report Service Level Commitment (SLC) metrics at different intervals to ascertain the process performance health and identify improvement areas.
