Our Information Technology Remote Support Services (ITRSS) team and a Network Operations Center has an immediate opening for an IT Support Engineer II at our contact center located in Bangalore, IN. As an IT Support Engineer II, you will join a team of Engineers that are motivated to deliver best in class customer service within a fast paced and complex environment. As a member of this World class team you will serve as an escalation point for technical issues affecting Amazon employees and infrastructure at our Fulfillment Centers and Amazon logistics sites. Ideal candidates should have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. The candidate must possess superior technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. They must possess strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. Previous experience exercising high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy required.

· Rapid troubleshooting of hardware and software issue escalations
· Root cause analysis in problem solving
· Generate and process trouble tickets and participate in the Change Management process where needed
· Serve as a subject matter expert for designated systems (Robotics, Surveillance, Windows, Linux, Route/navigation devices, networking)
· Assist with process development and improvement to include technical documentation
· Ensure that issues are addressed and SLAs are met
· Ensures security procedures are followed and enforced
· Drive to improve the customer experience

Basic Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent
. Professional working fluency in Italian language
· Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
· Strong troubleshooting skills of very complex systems
· Advanced Troubleshooting skills in a multi-user high pressure environment
· Expertise in one or more specialized areas of IT such as Microsoft Administration, Linux Administration, or Cisco IOS (CLI)
· Advanced Troubleshooting skills in a multi-user high pressure environment
· Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications
· Experience communicating verbally and in writing with peers, management, contractors and vendors
· Willingness to work flexible shifts and scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or IT related field
· Experience working in a contact center or service desk environment
· Experience in providing remote systems administration
· Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory)
· Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification
· MySQL, Oracle or other Relational Database management skills desired
· Advanced Linux systems administration skills
· Strong troubleshooting skills of very complex systems
· Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
· Previous WMS Environment or Amazon Fulfillment experience a plus
