AMG's Shopper & Marketing Insights team develops measurement and analytics products; drives platform development and provides consultative research services to advertisers to maximize their success on our platforms. We partner with some of the largest global brands and help them raise the impact of their digital marketing activities on and off Amazon. Through the engagements and data-driven consultancy to Amazon's strategic advertising partners we are constantly identifying opportunities for advancing AMG's reporting and insight capabilities. We are now looking for an experienced Reporting Specialist in Bengaluru, to support our global business. The reporting specialist will provide world class stakeholder service and support for the Amazon’s global advertising business. Responsibilities include working with EU stakeholders to create reporting mechanisms and processes which will be used to inform media investment decisions on and off Amazon by our global advertising clients.

Responsibilities include:
Support global ad analytics team on various reporting activities on a day to day basis.
Working with tools/scripting languages like Python, SQL, Tableau and some home grown tools and products
Analyze campaign targeting segments and build reporting templates and mechanisms around the same
Support the advertising team on various reporting needs around the campaign objectives
Support analysis of retail context for display ad campaigns run via Amazon Media Group through data extraction and visualization
Take on the analytics projects and deliver them as per the expectations

Basic Qualifications

Basic qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics
Advanced Computer literacy. 3+ years of hands-on experience on Python, writing SQL and ETL queries
Working knowledge of database management techniques (like configuring new tables, importing and processing data, etc.)
Passionate about working with huge data sets and bringing data sets together to answer business questions and drive growth
Ability to dive deep and work in a fast paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and be able to implement solutions using these technologies
Problem-solving and organization skills
Strong communication skills
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager/ owner mentality
Track record for being detail-orientated with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications


Preferred qualifications:
General understanding of online advertising processes and willingness to learn new reporting technologies
Ideal candidate may have 3+ years of relevant work experience in ad analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence or may have worked as a Data Scientist
Working knowledge of Tableau, Qlikview or alike
Experience in using statistical software like R in context of data handling and analysis would be a bonus
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Experience with Tableau Server or Shiny Server would be a bonus
Experience with text mining software/ social media monitoring tools would be a bonus
Digital advertising and e-commerce experience would be a bonus
